Usborne, best known for its distinctive illustrated nonfiction, signals a move into fiction with the appointment of Megan Larkin as fiction editor. Larkin, previously at Orchard Books, joined Usborne in May. Usborne plans to launch a new list of fiction for readers up to 11 or 12 in the autumn of 2003.
