D'Day to Offer Guide to Heaven

A book that offers a guided tour of Heaven, in both its physical and spiritual dimensions, has been signed by Michelle Rapkin, director of Doubleday Religion. She paid a substantial six-figure advance for North American rights in a two-book deal made with agent Peter Miller at PMA Literary & Film Management, and will publish in fall of next year. The author is Anthony DiStefano, whose A Travel Guide to Heaven, said Miller, offers a comforting sightseeing trip through the afterlife, and has amassed some notable endorsements, ranging from Regis Philbin to William Bennett and Lee Iacocca. The second book in the deal has an equally comforting premise: it's called Ten Prayers God Always Says Yes To! Who knew?
