PreviewPort Put up for Sale

PreviewPort.com, the online author and books site, has been put up for sale following an announcement that the company's founder, Susan Bergman, is battling brain cancer. The company, founded in 1999, has laid off the majority of its staff, but continues to operate and provide services to its client authors and publishers.
Company spokesperson Sandra Wilcoxon told PW that PreviewPort.com hopes to find a buyer within the next couple of months. She added, "Susan has been undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments, but she still manages to make it into the office most mornings. We are confident that she will be able to overcome this challenge, but recognize that her highest priority and focus must be on recovering her health."
