Have Pants, Will Travel

Following its win of this year's Book Sense Book of the Year in the children's fiction category, Delacorte Books for Young Readers will be repromoting Ann Brashares's The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants this fall, with a special hardcover printing of the book that includes a teaser chapter from the forthcoming sequel, The Second Summer of the Sisterhood, currently scheduled for spring 2003. Plans include a consumer contest to win an advance signed copy of Second Summer and a floor display to draw attention to the Book Sense award.
