NYIBC Returns After Year Off

After missing a year because of the attacks of September 11, New York Is Book Country returned last month with a week-long celebration that culminated Sunday, September 29, with the annual street fair along Fifth Avenue. There were 190 exhibits covering all book genres, and many exhibitors reported doing brisk business. Nearly half of the exhibits featured activities for children, with booths offering storytelling, games and drawings.
