Memorial Set For Hamilton

Author Virginia Hamilton will be honored by the New School University in a two-part tribute later this week. Hamilton, who died in February, wrote more than 35 children's books and won numerous awards. On February 19, a panel discussion on multicultural publishing for children will take place at 6:30 p.m.: admission is $5. On February 20, at 7 p.m., a group of children's authors will read from their works. The New School is located at 66 W. 12th St. in New York City.
