A Deserving Landing

The Free Press launched powerhouse author Suze Orman's newest bestseller, The Laws of Money, the Lessons of Life: Keep What You Have and Create What You Deserve, with a 600,000-copy first printing. The PBS special based on the book is airing through March 16. So far, the publisher reports that all events on the tour have sold out. Her 22-city tour ends April 2. Free Press set up a 1-800-GET-SUZE number for the public to call for info regarding all of the author's events (at least a half-dozen in each city). TV ads ran in each local market prior to Orman's arrival. And if you fly United Airlines during the month of March, you will see a 30-second spot on its in-flight TV.
