Books for a Better Life Awards

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society sponsored the annual Books for a Better Life Awards ceremony last month in New York City. The awards honor the best self-improvement books of 2002. In addition, author Andrew Weil, finance author Suze Orman and publishing executive Larry Ashmead were inducted into the BBL Hall of Fame.
The winners included:
First Book: Revenge by Laura Blumenfeld (S&S, First Book) and The Pact by Sampson Davis, George Jenkins and Rameck Hunt (Riverhead).
Inspirational memoir: If a Place Can Make You Cry by Daniel Gordis (Crown).
Motivational: The Impossible Just Takes a Little Longer by Art Berg (Morrow).
Psychology: Authentic Happiness by Martin E.P. Seligman (Free Press).
Relationships: Life's Work by Lisa Belkin (S&S).
Spiritual: Learning to Fall by Philip Simmons (Bantam).
Wellness: Women Are Not Small Men by Nieca Goldberg (Ballantine).
