Aiming High

Chalk up another bull's-eye for Iris Johansen, as her newest thriller, Dead Aim, grabs our #8 spot after only one week on sale (copies in print: nearly 250,000 after three trips back to press). Though this Bantam release is Johansen's first appearance this year on our charts, three of her books—Body of Lies, No One to Trust and Reap the Wind—spent time on the 2002 lists. Johansen's Fatal Tide will appear in September as a Bantam hardcover.
