Dearborn Adds People, Titles

Dearborn Trade Publishing has made a number of personnel changes, including the creation of one new editorial position. Michael Cunningham, who has held senior editorial spots with Hungry Minds and JIST Publishing, has been named to the newly created post of acquisitions editor for Dearborn's sales and marketing list. Dearborn has also named Jon Malysiak acquisitions editor for its management/small business list. Malysiak, who had been with Sourcebooks and Hungry Minds, succeeds Jean Iversen.

Other changes include the appointment of Jackie Posek to editorial assistant and the promotion of Mary Good, who will acquire personal finance and investing books as well as continuing to buy consumer real estate books. In marketing and publicity, Courtney Goethals has been promoted to senior publicist focusing on Dearborn's business management titles.

The personnel changes are being made to support an expansion of Dearborn's publishing program. The company plans to release 70 titles this year, up from 50 in 2002.
