My Little Blue Robot

by Staff -- Publishers Weekly, 5/12/2003

In honor of his October 2002 book My Little Blue Robot (Silver Whistle/Harcourt, $21.95), author/illustrator Stephen Johnson has created a series of automated robot sculptures that move in the same manner as those in his book. The sculptures were created for the pediatric wing of the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, Kans., and are now on permanent display. The display includes full-scale interactive robot sculptures, original illustrations from some of Johnson's previous books and a framed version of every spread from My Little Blue Robot.
