Children's Book Art Exhibit

The Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vt., will feature an exhibit of children's book art from the Hurd family (Clement, Edith and Thacher). The exhibit will run August 1–October 26 in the museum's Round Barn Welcome Center. It will include a life-size recreation of the "great green room" from Goodnight Moon, as well as original art by Clement Hurd and his son Thacher, and an examination of the story of Clement and his wife Edith's professional collaboration.
