Sourcebooks in Deal with 'U.S. News & World Report'

Sourcebooks has signed an agreement with U.S. News & World Report to publish a college directory based on research conducted by the magazine on America's colleges. The U.S. News Ultimate College Directory 2004 will be released this October and is the first book in what will be an ongoing line. "We're excited, because this is not just a one-book deal, but rather a joining of forces that will continue to grow," said U.S. News executive editor Brian Kelly.
Dominique Raccah, president of Sourcebooks, said the U.S. News directory will complement the publisher's Fiske Guide to Colleges and Fiske Guide to Getting into the Right College, both by former New York Times education editor Edward Fiske, which Sourcebooks began publishing three years ago.
