Strachan to Hyperion

In an unusual move, former Columbia University Press director William Strachan will be joining Hyperion as an executive editor.
At Hyperion, Strachan will edit "major nonfiction, narrative and books written by experts," according to editor-in-chief Will Schwalbe. "Lest someone read too much into the fact that we just hired the former head of Columbia University Press," Schwalbe said, he wanted to emphasize that, "Hyperion intends to continue doing the full range of books we've always done."
