To Prey or Not to Prey

True: John Sandford's Naked Prey is the veteran author's 15th novel. It is not, however, his 15th Lucas Davenport "Prey" novel, as we stated last week in this column. In Sandford's 1997 tome, The Night Crew, neither Davenport nor Prey were anywhere to be found. Thus Putnam's Naked Prey is the author's 14th Prey yarn. Got that?
