Krentz/Quick United

by John F. Baker -- Publishers Weekly, 6/9/2003

Previously, Jayne Ann Krentz, who writes bestselling contemporary women's novels under her own name and historical romances as Amanda Quick, has published separately, with Putnam and Bantam, respectively. Now, under a three-book deal just signed with Leslie Gelbman, chief of Penguin Group's mass market division, she will bring all her work under the same umbrella. Gerber signed with agent Steve Axelrod for the three books, all historicals by Quick, with the first, due next year, set in Regency London; two will be Putnam hardcovers, the third a Berkley paperback.
