Muller Leaves NYIBC

Courtney Muller's tenure as executive director of New York Is Book Country was a brief one. The former director of BookExpo America, Muller has returned to BEA parent company Reed Exhibitions as an industry v-p of the gaming division. She succeeded Linda Exman as the head of NYIBC last July.
Lorraine Shanley of Market Partners is heading up the search committee to find Muller's successor. Until a replacement is found, Sally Harper and Lauren Moosbrugger, who have been working with Muller, will direct plans for the fair's 25th anniversary, set for this September.
