Davidar Named Publisher of Penguin Canada

David Davidar, publisher and CEO of Penguin Group India as well as head of Pearson Education's India operation, has been named publisher of Penguin Group Canada. Davidar will move to his new post in early 2004, after helping with the transition at the Indian operation. The position of publisher of Penguin Canada has been vacant since Cynthia Good left in February. Ed Carson, president of Penguin Canada, has been serving in the publisher's role.
