S&S and Scholastic to Publish Rubbadubbers Titles

The media tie-in imprint of Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing, Simon Spotlight, and Scholastic will be publishing books based on HIT Entertainment's television property Rubbadubbers, beginning in summer 2004. The HIT animated preschool series will debut on Nick Jr. in fall 2003
The Rubbadubbers property is based on a group of bath toys who take imaginary journeys where they can become anything they want to be. Simon Spotlight will launch its publishing program with seven books, in novelty and storybook formats, while Scholastic will launch with four coloring and activity books. Both publishers will release additional titles in fall 2004.
