Books24x7 Adds Wrox Titles

by Staff -- Publishers Weekly, 8/25/2003

Books24x7, a subscription– based online reference and e-learning resource, has completed an agreement with John Wiley & Sons to include 36 titles from Wiley's computer programming imprint Wrox Press.

The agreement with Wiley will make these Wrox titles available as part of Books24x7 ITPro collection, an online reference library of more than 2,700 titles on a wide range of computing and technology topics. The agreement will also include new Wrox titles as the books are released.

John Ambrose, general manager of Books24x7, said the Wrox titles were "one of our most frequently requested publishers." Joe Wikert, v-p, publisher, at John Wiley, expects the agreement "to bring Wrox titles to an expanded reader audience."

Books24x7 is a subsidiary of SkillSoft PLC, a firm specializing in online learning.
