New Kids' Author: Chopra

The indefatigable Deepak Chopra has turned, like so many of his adult contemporaries, to writing for children, and agent Robert Gottleib made a two-book North American rights deal for him with David Gale at Simon & Schuster Children's Books just before Frankfurt. It covers both nonfiction and fiction, with the first, a YA title called Fire in the Heart: A Spiritual Guide for Teens, due next May, and an untitled fiction work to follow, due for delivery next August.
