Cookbooks always enjoy strong sales during the gift-giving season, and this year's hardcover winner is From Emeril's Kitchens: Favorite Recipes from Emeril's Restaurants (popular TV chef Lagasse is chef-proprietor of seven eateries). The author's 14-city book tour was a success, and Morrow reports a total of 323,000 copies in print after five printings. An Oprah appearance is scheduled for mid-January.
