Davis to Head CBOMC

Bookspan has appointed Kaylee Davis editor-in-chief of its Children's Book-of-the-Month and BookPlanet clubs. She succeeds Shelley Pierce, who resigned from those positions at the end of November. Davis has a long track record in children's publishing and retailing. She most recently served as general manager of the New York City children's bookstore Books of Wonder and also worked at HarperCollins, Golden Books, Morrow and Barnes & Noble.
