And they sell! Last week, American Dynasty: Aristocracy, Fortune, and the Politics of Deceit in the House of Bush by Kevin Phillips hit our list at #10; this week, it climbs to #7. Phillips is currently finishing a 10-city tour and will soon be a featured guest on MSNBC's Hardball with Chris Matthews and NPR's Fresh Air. The Viking book is in its third printing, with 123,000 copies in print. Debuting this week in the #2 spot is The Price of Loyalty: George W. Bush, the White House and the Education of Paul O'Neill by Ron Suskind; Simon & Schuster reports 375,000 copies in print after seven trips to press. Joint appearances by O'Neill and Suskind have included 60 Minutes, Today and Fresh Air; first serial ran in the Wall Street Journal on January 11, the same day that Time ran an interview with both men.
