Kreit Named Puffin Publisher

Penguin Books moved quickly to name a replacement for Tracy Tang, who announced in January she was stepping down as publisher of Puffin Books, effective February 12. Eileen Bishop Kreit will take over as publisher February 23, said Doug Whiteman, president of Penguin Young Readers Group. Kreit has been at Penguin since 1990, most recently as director of national accounts.
