'Child' Magazine Celebrates Top Authors and Illustrators

On February 12, Child magazine hosted its third annual
children's book awards event. Held at the Union Square Barnes and Noble bookstore in New York City, the event brought together over 20 authors and illustrators who made the magazine's 50 Best Books of the Year list. Child
also bestowed a Lifetime Achievement Award upon author/illustrator Maurice Sendak.
