Diggs Joins Literary Agency

Anita Diggs, former senior editor and director of One World, Ballantine's multicultural imprint, has joined the Literary Group as a literary agent. Diggs told PW that she was "starting fresh" as an agent, and was looking to bring in authors that will appeal to a multicultural audience. Before joining One World, Diggs was an acquiring editor at Warner Books. Among the authors she has worked with are novelist Elizabeth Nunez and NAACP Image Award nominee Ilyasah Shabazz.
After leaving Ballantine in 2002, Diggs turned to writing; she has written and published three novels.
