Good Intentions

by Daisy Maryles -- Publishers Weekly, 3/22/2004

Wayne W. Dyer's newest bestseller, The Power of Intention, goes on our list in the #4 spot, and Hay House has already gone back to press for 65,000 copies to augment the 150,000 first printing for the book, published February 23. The Power of Intention was released in conjunction with a PBS event. This is Dyer's fifth fund-raiser for Public Television, and all have been record-breaking, with $40 million raised to date. Dyer's newest PBS special began airing March 6 and will be broadcast on local PBS stations more than 1,500 times in March; he will also be on an 11-city tour in April and May. Dyer began his successful writing career back in 1976 with Your Erroneous Zones. Altogether, his 10 books have sold more than 80 million copies worldwide.
