Smith to Head BMI

Bruce Smith has been chosen to succeed Stephen Snyder as executive v-p of the Book Manufacturers' Institute. Snyder led the BMI since 1992 and retired at the end of March. Smith is a book manufacturing veteran, having been with R.R. Donnelley for 35 years, most recently serving as senior v-p, manufacturing for the book group.
