| Our photos this week are of two celebrations in New York City -- one for poets and one for independent presses. Over 200 small presses from across the country exhibited at the sixteenth annual Small Press Book Fair in Manhattan on March 27 & 28. During the fair, Morgan Entrekin, President and Publisher of Grove/Atlantic was presented with the 2004 "Ben" (formerly the Poor Richard Award). Kicking off National Poetry month (April), the Academy of American Poets held its star-studded second annual benefit called "Poetry & The Creative Mind" at Lincoln Center. |  |
