New Opponent for Bush

The president has found yet another critic in conservative spokesman Pat Buchanan, who is writing a book to be published by Tom Dunne's imprint at St. Martin's Press in time for the Republican National Convention in late August. It's called Where the Right Went Wrong, and it attacks the administration on many fronts, including its trade policies, its foreign policy and its war in Iraq. Buchanan says Bush has abandoned the principles of "true conservatism." Dunne bought world, audio and serial rights from agent Fredericka Friedman.
