Executive Reorg at Scholastic Australia

Scholastic has restructured its Australian management team. David Peagram, general manager of Scholastic's New Zealand operations, has been named general manager, finance, IT, operations and book fairs. He will report to Ken Jolly, managing director of Scholastic Australia, while also retaining responsibility for New Zealand.

Bob Bateman, who has been with Scholastic Australia for 28 years, is retiring as general manager for finance and IT, while Guy Romeo, general manager of operations, and Jason Workman, head of direct marketing, are leaving the company. Neil Welham, finance and IT manager for New Zealand, has been promoted to manager of the unit, reporting to Peagram.
