The fourth bestseller featuring Jason Bourne, The Bourne Legacy, hits PW's fiction chart in the #8 spot with a 350,000-copy first printing from St. Martin's. Eric Van Lustbader was hired by Robert Ludlum's estate to continue writing the popular series, and July 23 marks the date when Matt Damon once again plays the role of the international assassin, this time in The Bourne Supremacy. Lustbader, who has written more than 20 international bestselling thrillers, was a good friend of Ludlum; the two shared the same agent and accountant and were mutual fans.
