Eisemann Leaving Scribner

Scribner director of publicity Pat Eisemann will leave the company July 9. Eisemann has worked for the imprint for 10 years and for Simon & Schuster for much longer, and is known for campaigns for books by Don DeLillo, Frank McCourt and many of the house's other high-profile authors. She was also among the Macmillan class—an employee who worked at S&S, left to work for Macmillan and ended up back at S&S when the conglomerate bought that firm. S&S said it will replace her.
