New Marketing V-P at Scholastic

Scholastic has named Linda Keene executive v-p, marketing. Keene, who has been a Scholastic board member since 1999, succeeds Dick Spaulding, who is retiring. Spaulding will continue as a company director.
Keene is giving up her board seat to head Scholastic's corporate marketing operation, which includes branding and marketing communications. Her background includes top marketing spots with American Express Financial Advisors and Pillsbury.
