Brissie Tabbed By Citadel Press

Gene Brissie, a veteran publishing figure most recently president of the James Peter Associates Literary Agency, has been named editor-in-chief of Kensington Publishing's Citadel Press effective immediately.

Brissie's specialty is general nonfiction, and he will oversee a Citadel Press publishing program that focuses on popular culture, history and outdoor adventure among other topics. Brissie will report to Laurie Parkin, v-p, publisher, of Kensington Publishing.

Before joining James Peter Associates, Brissie was executive editor at Contemporary Books; before that, he was publisher of Perigee Books.
