Out for Justice

by Daisy Maryles -- Publishers Weekly, 9/6/2004

Our second fiction newbie on this week's list is Dark Justice, a modern-day tale of espionage about an assassination attempt on the president of the U.S., in which a White House operative and his British intelligence counterpart soon become targets themselves. It's classic Jack Higgins territory: to be precise, it's the suspensemeister's 35th bestseller. Putnam launched the book on August 19 with a 150,000-copy printing and a national print and radio advertising campaign.
