Reynolds Joins Lerner Publishing

by Staff -- Publishers Weekly, 9/13/2004

Jean Reynolds, a cofounder and publisher of the defunct Millbrook Press, has been named associate publisher of Lerner Publishing Group. Lerner acquired the Millbrook and Twenty-First Century Books imprints in a bankruptcy proceeding in July. She will report to Mary Rodgers, v-p and Lerner editor-in-chief.

Reynolds will be based in Lerner's new Connecticut office, which had been the former home of Millbrook and which includes two other employees. Reynolds will oversee all Millbrook and Twenty-First Century projects emanating from Connecticut. Lerner plans to publish a total of 100 new titles under the recently acquired imprints.
