Scholastic Looks for New Web Master

by Staff -- Publishers Weekly, 9/20/2004

Donna Iucolano, who has headed e-Scholastic, the company's Internet operation, since 2000, is leaving the publisher later this month to become CEO of IMP North America. Scholastic's Web operations are centered around scholastic.com and act as a marketing, promotional and ordering channel. Approximately one-third of domestic book club orders, for example, come through COOL (Club Ordering Online), and last week Scholastic launched International COOL. Scholastic said it has begun searching for a replacement for Iucolano and, until a successor is found, David Crumrine, head of finance and strategy for e-Scholastic, will act as general manager of the division.
