Palmer Moving to SMP

Bestselling author of medical thrillers Michael Palmer has made a seven-figure deal to move to St. Martin's Press (from Bantam) for his next three books. SMP's Matthew Shear, who used to handle the author at Bantam, made the North American rights deal with agent Jane Birkey at Jane Rotrosen, and Palmer's SMP editor will be Jennifer Enderlin. The author's latest among his 11 titles, most of them bestsellers, is Society, which was published in August.
