Brunching in Book Country

More than 300 book lovers turned out for this year’s New York Is Book Country Literary Brunch, sponsored by the New York Times. Speakers were (seated, l.–r.) Terri Gross (All I Did Was Ask), Anita Shreve (Light on Snow) and Esmeralda Santiago (The Turkish Lover). Times contributor Robert Lipsyte (standing, left) moderated the panel, which also included Alexander McCall Smith (The Sunday Philosophy) and David Baldacci (Hour Game).
