A Toothsome Two

Laurell K. Hamilton is once again taking a bite out of national bestseller charts with Incubus Dreams, the 12th entry in her Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series, landing in PW's second-place fiction spot. (The author's last four titles have also hit our charts, though only 2003's Cerulean Sins matched this landing.) Hamilton's current 14-city tour is drawing upward of 200 fans at every stop. It'll be hard to top the excitement of her previous tour, however: at one of the Cerulean Sins signings, a loyal reader went into labor while waiting in line. Hamilton met that reader again this year—a proud mom who arrived brandishing baby pictures.
