Measuring Up

With the Frankfurt Book Fair closing last week, speculation again arises about the state of the show—and trade shows in general—among English-language publishing outfits. A snapshot of the number of booths at the three major trade shows this past year suggests that while Frankfurt is not the dominant fair it once was, it retains a sizable share, compared to an evolving BookExpo and an expanding London Book Fair.
