You've not indulged in too much holiday punch: Someone is actually hoping that reading is the sugar-cereal to turn kids on to something more nutritious.

That the something else is related to philately and the reading is Harry Potter explains it...sort of. The set of stamps based on wizards is set to debut on the British Isle of Man tomorrow, eight different designs that have been "approved by the Royal Palace and Warner Brothers" and--who knew?--selected from "dozens of competing postal administrations." The DVD release of Prisoner of Azkaban is the putative hook. The notable line of the bookish press release: "Maybe this will prove to be the enchanting potion that turns kids on to stamp collecting."
