Fierman Joins DC Comics

Stephanie Fierman, formerly chief sales and marketing officer at Zagat Survey, has been named senior v-p, sales and marketing at DC Comics. Fierman's hiring is another step in DC Comics' efforts to expand its presence in the book trade. In her newly created position, Fierman will be responsible for sales to bookstores as well as to the comics shops, overseeing titles from all DC Comics's imprints.
