Editors' Note

In a story in PW's January 31 issue, we reported that some of Baker & Taylor's suppliers were complaining about late payments. The article also stated that many Baker & Taylor suppliers reported no difficulty receiving payments. The wholesaler has over 28,000 clients and the PW article quoted only a half dozen. While we sought comment from B&T executives prior to publishing the story, we regret that the company was unable to respond to our request for comment before the article went to press.
