Bach's Back

Enticing titles are clearly a winning formula for financial guru David Bach. His 2004 Broadway Books bestseller, The Automatic Millionaire (if only), spent 21 weeks on PW's list, with 748,000 copies in print. His latest, Start Late, Finish Rich: A No-Fail Plan for Achieving Financial Freedom at Any Age (pub date January 4) marks week #5 on our list, with 365,000 copies in print after five printings. A three-part CBS Early Show series launched the book, followed by two CNN American Morning appearances, a TV satellite tour and five radio satellite tours. Bach is now doing a 20-city tour, serving as the lead speaker in a series of major-market "Millionaire Conferences." He's also done, noted Broadway publicity director David Drake, "no fewer than 200 radio interviews."
