Plan B Still on the A list

Anne Lamott's current bestseller, Plan B: Further Thoughts on Faith, has been on PW's chart for a month (copies in print: nearly 150,000). Riverhead has had Lamott on tour for most of the month and reports standing-room-only crowds at all her appearances—more than 300 people at each venue. The author enjoyed rave reviews, including a PWstar: "This is that rare kind of book that is like having a smart, dear, crazy (in the best sense) friend walk next to us in sunlight and in the dark night of the soul."
