HarperResource's new bestseller, The 3-Hour Diet: How Low-Carb Diets Make You Fat and Timing Makes You Thin, proffers an appealing food plan—you have to eat every three hours. Author Jorge Cruise has the right credentials—he is the FitSmart columnist for USA Weekend magazine and is the "exclusive AOL Weight Loss Coach," according to the book-jacket description. First printing for the book was 150,000; two additional trips to press bring that number to 250,000.
