Ermelino to Head 'PW' Reviews

Louisa Ermelino will join PW next month as Reviews Editor, a new position. Ermelino, most recently chief of reporters at InStyle magazine, has been a book reviewer for both trade and consumer magazines. She is also the author of three novels and teaches creative writing at Columbia University.

Asked for a comment about her upcoming role, Ermelino said she was "looking forward to working with the people I know in the industry and getting to know those I haven't met yet."

"Louisa knows books, is a great writer and an excellent manager, and I'm thrilled to have her join our talented staff," said PW editor-in-chief Sara Nelson.

Ermelino will oversee PW's Forecasts section, which will be rebranded Reviews when the redesign of the magazine is unveiled in the May 2 issue. She will report to deputy editor Karen Holt.
